Deepti Kapoor is an Indian novelist and former journalist. She grew up in northern India and worked for several years as a reporter in New Delhi before turning to fiction. Her debut novel, Bad Character, was followed by the internationally acclaimed Age of Vice, an epic contemporary crime-family saga set in India. Kapoor has lived in Portugal with her husband.
