Dick Wolf
Richard Anthony "Dick" Wolf (born December 20, 1946) is an American television writer, producer, and author best known as the creator and executive producer of the Law & Order franchise and the Chicago and FBI franchises. He began his career in advertising and as a television writer (Hill Street Blues, Miami Vice) before creating Law & Order in 1990. Wolf has written several thriller novels (the Jeremy Fisk series) and has received numerous honors including Emmy Awards, induction into the Television Academy Hall of Fame, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He is founder and chairman of Wolf Entertainment.
