Alexandra Wallner

Alexandra Wallner is an author and illustrator of numerous children's books, known particularly for her picture-book biographies of notable historical women and figures. Born in Germany, she emigrated to the United States in 1952 and later became a naturalized citizen. She frequently collaborated with her husband, illustrator John Wallner, on various projects. In addition to her creative work, she has been involved in teaching writing and illustration for children's books.
