Eric Van Lustbader (born December 24, 1946) is an American novelist best known for thriller and fantasy works. He wrote The Ninja (1980) and The Sunset Warrior Cycle, and was chosen by the estate of Robert Ludlum to continue the Jason Bourne series. In recent years he launched the Evan Ryder series, beginning with The Nemesis Manifesto. Born and raised in Greenwich Village, New York, he graduated from Columbia College and previously worked in the music business and as a teacher before becoming a full-time author.
