Robert Ludlum's (TM) The Bourne Sanction

Jason Bourne returns to Georgetown University, hoping to find a semblance of a normal life as his alter ego, David Webb, a linguistics professor. However, the quiet academic life chafes him after years of high-stakes espionage. His academic mentor, Professor Specter, draws him back into a world of danger by asking for help investigating the murder of a former student by a previously unknown Muslim extremist sect called the Black Legion.
