Catherine Hernandez
Catherine Hernandez is an award-winning Canadian author, screenwriter, and theatre practitioner. A proud queer woman of Filipino, Spanish, Chinese, and Indian descent, her work often explores themes of resilience, community, and social justice. She is well-known for her debut novel, Scarborough, which was adapted into an award-winning film for which she wrote the screenplay. She has also authored several plays and children's books.
