Wayétu Moore
Wayétu Moore is a Liberian-American author, social entrepreneur, and activist. Born in Liberia, she fled the country at age five during the First Liberian Civil War. She is the founder of One Moore Book, a nonprofit organization that publishes and distributes culturally relevant books for underrepresented readers. Her work, which often explores themes of identity, history, and the African diaspora, includes the novel 'She Would Be King' and the memoir 'The Dragons, The Giant, The Women'.
