Nasreen Pejvack is an Iranian-born Canadian writer of fiction, short stories, poetry and essays. Born in Tehran, she worked as an underground activist writer prior to emigrating and later lived and worked in Greece, Canada and the United States. Her novel Amity (Inanna, 2015) was shortlisted for the BC Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize. She has published collections of short stories and poetry as well as a science-fiction novel and essays, and develops and facilitates workshops on social and environmental topics.
