Monica Pradhan

Monica Pradhan is the author of The Hindi-Bindi Club, a lyrical novel that explores the bonds between mothers and daughters across generations of Indian-American families. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to parents who emigrated from Mumbai in the 1960s, she grew up outside Washington, D.C., and has lived in Minnesota and Toronto. Her work weaves family history, food, ceremony, and the immigrant experience into character-driven literary fiction.
