Matt Dinniman

Matt Dinniman is an American author and artist known for the science fantasy LitRPG book series Dungeon Crawler Carl and the science-fiction novel Operation Bounce House. He began writing as a child and started his first novel as a high school senior. Dinniman attended the University of Arizona and Prescott College, and took creative writing classes at Pima Community College, which he credits with significantly furthering his development as a writer. He is also known for his artwork, which includes greeting cards, stationery kits, and calendars. Dinniman's breakout series, Dungeon Crawler Carl, began as a web serial on Royal Road before he self-published the first book in 2020. The series quickly gained a devoted following and has since reached the New York Times bestseller list with multiple installments. The series has been adapted into a graphic novel and a television series is in development for Peacock.
