Alice Borchardt

Alice Borchardt (born Alice Allen O'Brien) was an American writer best known for historical fantasy novels that blend medieval settings with supernatural elements. A registered/licensed vocational nurse for three decades, she began publishing fiction in her mid-50s. Her works include standalone historical novels and series such as the Legends of the Wolves trilogy and the Tales of Guinevere. She was the older sister of novelist Anne Rice and lived much of her life in Houston, Texas.
