Donald E. Waite
Donald E. Waite is a Canadian photographer and author best known for bird and aerial photography from British Columbia. He began photographing birds in the 1970s, ran a camera store and an aerial photography business (Waite Air/Waite Bird Photos Inc.), co-authored The Art of Photographing North American Birds and has published regional photographic histories and journals focused on the Vancouver/Maple Ridge area. His work includes extensive nest and high-speed-strobe bird photography; he has also written memoir material about his life and photographic career.
