Anthony Trollope

Anthony Trollope (1815–1882) was an English novelist of the Victorian era, best known for his chronicle of the fictional county of Barsetshire and for novels such as The Warden, Barchester Towers and The Way We Live Now. He wrote prolifically on social, political and domestic life in 19th-century Britain and worked for many years in the British Postal Service, which influenced both his writing routine and subject matter.
