Andrew Taylor
Andrew Taylor (born 14 October 1951) is a British author best known for crime and historical novels, including the Lydmouth series, the Roth Trilogy and the Marwood & Lovett series (beginning with The Ashes of London). He has won the CWA Cartier Diamond Dagger for sustained excellence and is the only author to have won the CWA Historical Dagger three times. Educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and with an MA in Library, Archive and Information Science from University College London, Taylor has also reviewed and contributed to publications such as The Spectator and The Times. He lives with his family in Coleford in the Forest of Dean.
