David Suzuki

David Takayoshi Suzuki (born 1936) is a Canadian geneticist, broadcaster, author and environmental activist. He is a longtime host of the CBC science program The Nature of Things, co‑founder of the David Suzuki Foundation (1990), and the author of more than 50 books on science and the environment. Suzuki is known for popularizing scientific and environmental issues and for his advocacy on biodiversity and climate change.
