Yvonne Maximchuk is a Canadian painter, naturalist and author based in the Broughton Archipelago off the coast of British Columbia. A lifelong working artist in acrylics and watercolour, she has written a memoir (Drawn to Sea), co-authored regional history/memoir titles (Full Moon Flood Tide; Tide Rips and Back Eddies) and published fiction including the island mystery Murder Rides a Gale Force Wind. She runs SeaRose Studio and offers art retreats from her off-grid home on Gilford Island.
