Gilles Tibo

Gilles Tibo (born Gilles Thibault) is a Canadian author and illustrator of more than a hundred children’s books. Born in Nicolet, Quebec, in 1951, he is best known for the Simon series and the Noémie series. Tibo has received multiple honours including two Governor General's Awards for children’s literature/illustration and several other national and international prizes. He lives in Montreal and has worked as an illustrator, graphic artist and writer for decades.
