Eric Hamilton Wilson (born November 24, 1940) is a Canadian author of young-adult fiction best known for the Tom & Liz Austen mystery series. A former elementary and secondary school teacher, he drew on his classroom experience to write short, fast-paced mysteries aimed at reluctant and young readers. His Tom & Liz Austen books are set across Canada and often incorporate historical and topical themes. Wilson has received recognition from Canadian literary and bookseller organizations and lives in Victoria, British Columbia.
