Pat Murphy

Patrice "Pat" Murphy (born March 9, 1955) is an American author best known for her science fiction and fantasy novels and short fiction. She has won multiple major genre awards (including the Nebula Award, the Philip K. Dick Award, and the World Fantasy Award) and has written novels such as The Falling Woman, The City, Not Long After, Nadya: The Wolf Chronicles, and Wild Angel. Murphy has also worked at the Exploratorium in San Francisco and co-founded the James Tiptree, Jr. Award.
