Rudyard Kipling

Rudyard Kipling was an English journalist, novelist, poet, and short-story writer, born in British India, which inspired much of his work. He is best known for his poems and stories set in India during the period of British imperial rule. Kipling received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1907, becoming the first English-language recipient. His works include 'The Jungle Book,' 'Just So Stories,' and 'Kim.'
