The Last Sinner

Detectives Rick Bentz and Reuben Montoya return to New Orleans to face a terrifying blast from the past. The city's sinners are called to repent as a killer surfaces, whose savagery and twisted methods leave a lasting mark on everyone who crosses their path. For Bentz and Montoya, this monster is their recurring nightmare, 'Father John,' a fake priest who used the sharpened beads of a rosary to strangle his victims. Bentz believed he had killed Father John years ago deep in the swamp. However, a new victim has been discovered, her body staged with unmistakable and deliberate details that perfectly match the killer’s signature M.O. With another death following quickly after, Bentz is forced to confront the chilling possibility that Father John is not only back, but is also circling closer, targeting those Bentz holds most dear.
