Lights, Camera, Rebecca!

For her tenth birthday, Rebecca is invited to visit her cousin Max's movie studio, where she is thrilled to spend the day. When an unexpected opportunity presents itself and the cameras begin to roll, Rebecca is quick to volunteer for a part to play, but she struggles with keeping a big secret from her family. Later that summer, on a visit to Coney Island, Rebecca gets a chance to use her acting skills to lighten the mood in an embarrassing situation and her climbing skills to rescue someone in a dangerous spot. A subsequent factory tour, however, makes Rebecca realize her skills are needed to help improve the horrible conditions she witnesses, and she is determined to do her part, even if it means marching straight into danger.
