Case Histories A Novel

Private investigator and former police inspector Jackson Brodie is drawn into three seemingly unconnected cold cases in Cambridge. The first case involves the decades-old disappearance of a three-year-old girl from her back garden; the second is the apparently motiveless murder of a solicitor's daughter/young office worker; and the third is a new mother's desperate act of violence. As Jackson investigates these tragic events from years ago, while grappling with his own personal trauma, he attempts to unravel the disparate case histories and begins to realize that everything is connected.
