Dance of Death

London, Autumn 1916. Amidst the chaos of a Zeppelin attack, a man named Simon Wilder is stabbed to death and left in an alleyway. Detective Inspector Harvey Marmion and Sergeant Joe Keedy are tasked with solving the puzzling case, which becomes particularly complicated as the victim is revealed to be a renowned ballroom dancer. The investigation into the murder forces the detectives to delve into the victim's promiscuous lifestyle and the cutthroat competition within the dancing world, multiplying the number of potential suspects. Additionally, Marmion must manage the strain of the war at home, as his son, Paul, returns from the front line with injuries.
