Crossfire

Captain Thomas Forsyth's tour of Afghanistan is cut brutally short when he is badly wounded by a roadside bomb. Returning home to his mother, Josephine Kauri, the 'First Lady' of racing and a racehorse trainer, Tom discovers her business is on the edge. She is being blackmailed to make her horses lose, facing a threat far more dangerous than a run of bad form. Tom finds himself on a very different, but just as deadly, battlefield where his military skills are put to the ultimate test as he sets out to discover and defeat the hidden enemy before his mother's career and reputation are ruined.
