Notes on a Missing G-String

This is Book 2 in The Jason Davey Mysteries, featuring professional jazz musician and amateur sleuth Jason Davey. After gaining notoriety tracking down a missing musician in northern Canada, Jason returns to London. He is hired to investigate the theft of £10,000 from a dancer's locker at a Soho gentlemen's club. The victim, Holly Medford, owes money to London crime boss Arthur Braskey and has gone into hiding, fearing for her life. Jason's investigation leads him through the seamy underside of Soho, including lapdancing clubs like Cha-Cha's and Satin & Silk, and an escort agency called Moonlight Desires. The trail eventually leads to a charity firewalking event where he confronts Braskey and realizes Holly has not been entirely truthful. Simultaneously, Jason attempts to save his band-mate's 14-year-old runaway daughter, Gracie, from Holly's ruthless pimp brother, Radu, all while trying to protect Holly from a vengeful Braskey, nearly losing his and Gracie's lives in the process.
