The Other Side of Lost

Mari Turner, an internet starlet, appears to have the perfect life to her thousands of followers. However, when she posts a video confessing that she has been living a lie and is not the happy, inspirational personality she portrays, the video goes viral, and she faces major backlash. To escape, Mari impulsively decides to hike the entire John Muir Trail, a trip she and her late cousin, Bri, were meant to take together for their shared eighteenth birthday. Armed with Bri's boots and trail diary, and a heart full of regret, Mari embarks on the difficult hike, which becomes a search for the way back to the girl she fears may be too lost to find: herself.
