Resurrection Walk

Defense attorney Mickey Haller, the Lincoln Lawyer, has established his own Innocence Project after a highly-publicized acquittal, and is now inundated with pleas from incarcerated people claiming wrongful conviction. He enlists the help of his half-brother, retired LAPD Detective Harry Bosch, to sift through the letters and find a credible case. Bosch finds a letter from Lucinda Sanz, a woman who has been in prison for five years for the murder of her ex-husband, a sheriff’s deputy, but who still maintains her innocence. Bosch's review of the original investigation suggests elements don't add up, indicating a sheriff's department intent on a quick conviction for one of its own. Haller takes on the uphill legal battle to vindicate his client in court. The path for both the lawyer and the investigator is fraught with danger from powerful forces determined to keep the case closed and prevent the Haller-Bosch team from uncovering the truth.
