The Keeper

Vega Jane was always told that no one could leave the town of Wormwood, as the outside world was the Quag, a wilderness filled with danger and death. She believed this until she uncovered a secret that proved her entire world was a lie. Now, Vega and her best friend Delph must find a way to cross the terrifying land of bloodthirsty creatures and sinister magic to leave Wormwood and discover the truth. The Quag, however, is a living, breathing prison designed to keep the villagers in, and it will throw everything at Vega Jane, testing her to the breaking point. Survival in the Quag may demand a price that Vega is not willing to pay.
