Dead Waters

Simon Canderous, who works for the Department of Extraordinary Affairs, is accustomed to dealing with paranormal threats like vampires and zombies. However, a strange murder of a professor has everyone baffled. The victim, a friend of one of the department's heads, appears to have drowned while inside his own apartment, and the killer is a woman made of water. Simon and his allies must investigate this unusual case, which is literally driving some people crazy, while also dealing with personal challenges and the mix of magic, myth, and technology in the modern world.
