Twisted Prey

Lucas Davenport confronts an old nemesis, Taryn Grant, a rich psychopath he'd crossed paths with before and suspected of three murders he could never prove. Grant has since successfully run for the U.S. Senate and, as Davenport predicted, fit right in. Now a federal marshal with a wide scope of investigation, Davenport hears rumors that Grant is finding her seat on the Senate Intelligence Committee and the contacts she's made there to be very useful. Pinning down those rumors is likely to be difficult and considerably more dangerous, but Davenport is determined to see his unfinished business with Grant through to the end.
