A Boy of Good Breeding A Novel

Life in Winnipeg didn't go as planned for Knute and her daughter, Summer Feelin', leading her to return to her hometown of Algren, Manitoba. She takes a job with the town's longtime mayor, Hosea Funk, who is obsessed with his dream of meeting the Prime Minister. His efforts to achieve this are complicated by the fact that Algren holds the title of Canada's smallest town, which requires its population to be kept at an exact 1500. Knute finds herself mixed up in the mayor's eccentric schemes. The novel is a big-hearted and hilarious story that brings to life small-town Canada and its larger-than-life characters as Knute works to figure out where she belongs.
