Loyalty in Death

Lieutenant Eve Dallas, a New York cop, faces her most ingenious and personal foe yet: an unknown bomber who taunts her with letters and kills without mercy. The bomber, operating under the name 'Cassandra,' vows to wreak mass terror and destruction among the 'corrupt masses' of the futuristic city. As the attacks escalate and the bomber's cruel web of deceit threatens those Eve cares for most, including her husband, Roarke, the case hits too close to home. Eve is in a desperate race against a ticking clock to stop the group's ultimate plot—blowing up the Statue of Liberty—and prevent the city from falling.
