The Last Flight

Claire Cook appears to have a perfect life as the wife of a man poised for a promising political career, complete with a Manhattan townhouse and staff; however, behind closed doors, her husband is controlling and physically abusive, leading her to meticulously plan her escape. A chance encounter in an airport bar brings her together with another woman, Eva, whose circumstances are equally desperate and who also needs to disappear. The two women make a last-minute decision to switch tickets: Claire boards Eva's flight to Oakland, and Eva takes Claire's flight to Puerto Rico. When the flight to Puerto Rico goes down, Claire realizes the ticket swap has given her more than a head start—it's given her a new life. Cut off from her old world, Claire must now assume Eva's identity and confront the dangerous secrets Eva had been desperately trying to keep hidden.
