The Maid

Molly Gray is a socially awkward and meticulous maid at the five-star Regency Grand Hotel. Her orderly life, governed by the rules and sayings of her late Gran, is upended when she enters the penthouse suite of the infamous and wealthy Charles Black and finds him dead in his bed. Due to her unusual demeanor, difficulty with social cues, and perceived stoicism, Molly is quickly targeted by the police as the prime suspect in the murder investigation. As she becomes caught in a web of deception and mixed signals, Molly must rely on a few unexpected allies and her unique, literal way of seeing the world to untangle the mystery, clear her name, and discover what it means to be seen.
