The Chicken Sisters

In the tiny town of Merinac, Kansas, Chicken Mimi's and Chicken Frannie's have spent a century battling to serve the state's best fried chicken, a legendary feud that has equally plagued their owners, the Moores and the Pogociellos. Caught in the middle is thirty-five-year-old widow Amanda Moore, who grew up working at Mimi's before scandalously marrying into the rival Pogociello family and changing sides to work at Frannie's. Tired of the conflict, Amanda sends an SOS to 'Food Wars,' a reality TV restaurant competition promising a $100,000 prize, launching both families directly into the fire. Her sister, Mae Moore, a Brooklyn-based organizational guru whose career has imploded, reluctantly returns home. Mae sees 'Food Wars' as her chance to reclaim the limelight by helping the fading Mimi's look good, even if it pits her against Amanda and Frannie's. As a greedy producer stokes the flames, their rivalry turns into a game of chicken, forcing the sisters to choose between fighting with each other or for their heritage when long-held family secrets become public knowledge.
