God Drives a Flying Saucer
Robert L. Dione
Robert L. Dione's 1969 book presents the eccentric claim that God is not a supernatural being, but rather a technologically advanced 'Ufonaut' or 'Saucerian God' who uses flying saucer technology. The book argues that all biblical miracles are a result of this advanced alien technology. Specific claims include: the star over Bethlehem was a luminous flying saucer, Ezekiel's visions were hallucinations caused by UFOs, and the conception of Jesus was a result of artificial insemination after the angel Gabriel (a messenger of the 'Saucerian God') hypnotized Mary and injected her with a hypodermic needle containing God's sperm. Dione posits that heaven is a supertechnological society and that God can manipulate and control humans by using electromagnetic brain signals, which he refers to as 'God's radio frequency.' The book suggests that Jesus did not perform any genuine miracles, and his apparent cures were due to mind manipulation caused by alien technology.
