The Rooster Bar A Novel

Third-year law students Mark, Todd, and Zola attend a third-tier, for-profit law school and realize they have been victims of a scam. They are heavily in debt and their mediocre school's graduates rarely pass the bar exam or get good jobs. They discover that the school is part of a chain owned by a shady New York hedge-fund operator who also owns a bank specializing in student loans, a scheme they call 'The Great Law School Scam.' With few options, they decide to quit law school, escape their crushing debt, and expose the bank and the scam by posing as licensed attorneys and operating out of a local watering hole, The Rooster Bar, taking on easy cases to make money before their illegal operation is discovered.
