The Negotiator

A master conspirator, backed by powerful American tycoons, is determined to crush the President of the United States to stop him from signing a crucial U.S.-Soviet disarmament treaty. The ruthless plan begins with the kidnapping of the President's son, Simon, on a country road in Oxfordshire. The CIA brings in Quinn, a retired Green Beret and the world's foremost negotiator, to handle the hostage crisis. As Quinn works to secure the young man's release, he remains unaware that the ransom is not the true objective. Following a devastating turn of events that results in the young man's death, the President is left psychologically and emotionally destroyed, leading to his potential removal from office.
