The fog

The peaceful life of a small rural village in Wiltshire is shattered when an unexpected earthquake causes a massive, yawning crack to rip through the earth, releasing a malevolent fog that had been trapped underground for many years. John Holman, a Department of the Environment worker investigating a Ministry of Defence base, is swallowed by the crack but emerges insane—a product of the deadly fog. This fog is no ordinary vapor; it shifts and travels as though it has a mind of its own, turning those who come into contact with it into homicidal and suicidal maniacs. As the fog multiplies in size and threatens to engulf entire cities, the only chance to stop the devastating trail of horror and chaos rests with the immunized John Holman, who must take on the fog from the inside.
