Anne's House of Dreams

Gilbert Blythe is finally a doctor, and at long last, he and Anne are ready to say their vows. The couple moves to their own little 'House of Dreams' on the misty shores of Four Winds Harbor, near Gilbert's new medical practice. As Anne settles into her new life, she becomes entangled with the local villagers, including the adventurous lighthouse attendant Captain Jim, the formidable and outspoken Miss Cornelia Bryant, and the tragically beautiful Leslie Moore. In their first years of marriage, Anne and Gilbert experience both immense joy and profound heartbreak, all while Anne attempts to bring light and hope into Leslie's dark life.
