Eleven on Top

Stephanie Plum, a fugitive apprehension agent, decides her career has run its course after being shot at, fire-bombed, and attacked, and quits in search of a safe and normal job. However, trouble continues to follow her, and she finds herself stalked by a maniac returned from the grave who is determined to put her in a burial plot of her own. Caught between the desire to stay away from bounty hunting and the need to stay alive, Stephanie reexamines her options. After brief, disastrous careers at various jobs, she takes an office position in security working for her bad-ass boss, Ranger, which gives her the technical access she needs to find her stalker. The situation intensifies as tempers and temperatures rise due to the competition between her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Trenton cop Joe Morelli, and Ranger.
