Billy dreams of turning a derelict old building into a wonderful sweet shop. But one day he discovers that the building has been bought by the Ladderless Window-Cleaning Company, consisting of a Giraffe with an extending neck, a Pelican with a bucket-sized beak, and a dancing Monkey. The unlikely group becomes fast friends and is soon hired by the Duke of Hampshire to clean the 677 windows of his massive mansion. During the job, they encounter a notorious jewel thief known as 'The Cobra,' and their brave actions lead to a grand reward that helps Billy fulfill his lifelong dream of opening 'The Grubber' sweet shop.
