Violet Shrink

Violet Shrink is a young girl who loves her own company and small, quiet gatherings. However, large, loud parties with lots of people make her feel overwhelmed—her chest feels tight, her hands get sweaty, and her 'insides start to shrink.' As the annual family holiday party approaches, Violet’s anxiety grows, and she tries everything to avoid going. Eventually, with the support of her understanding father, Violet learns to express her feelings and discovers that she can set boundaries and participate in celebrations in a way that feels comfortable and safe for her.
