The Neverending Story

The Neverending Story is a classic fantasy tale that follows Bastian Balthazar Bux, a lonely boy who discovers a mysterious book in an old bookstore. As he begins to read, he is swept into the magical land of Fantastica, a world of dragons, giants, and strange creatures that is being threatened by a dark force known as 'The Nothing.' Bastian soon realizes that he is more than just a reader; he is a character in the story itself, and he has been chosen to save Fantastica. To do so, he must give the dying Childlike Empress a new name. However, as Bastian enters the world of his imagination and begins to reshape it with his wishes, he discovers that each wish costs him a memory of his real life. He must navigate a perilous journey of self-discovery to find his way back to reality before he forgets who he is entirely.
