Spider-Man The Legend Begins

This children's storybook retells the classic origin story of the web-slinging superhero. Peter Parker, a shy high school student and science whiz, is bitten by a radioactive spider during a laboratory demonstration. Discovering he has gained incredible strength, agility, and the ability to cling to walls, Peter initially seeks fame. However, after a tragic event involving his Uncle Ben, he learns the hard way that with great power there must also come great responsibility. Based on the 1990s Spider-Man animated series, the book follows Peter's transformation into the legendary hero known as Spider-Man.
