In the lakeside town of Heart Lake, three small-town shop owners—Emma, Sarah, and Jamie—are determined to preserve the community's warmth as the town begins to grow too fast. They launch the 'Have a Heart' campaign, a 'pay-it-forward' initiative challenging neighbors to perform one random act of kindness every day. However, their mission to spread joy leads to unexpected personal trials: Emma nearly bankrupts her quilt shop by giving away blankets, Sarah’s free cooking classes lead to the theft of a family heirloom, and Jamie finds her defenses melting when a local policeman starts frequenting her chocolate shop.
