Noddy Meets Father Christmas
Enid Blyton
Father Christmas is coming to Toyland, not to deliver presents, but to appraise and select the toys he will need for Christmas stockings. Toyland is buzzing with excitement, and Father Christmas decides to stay the night at Little-Ears' house. Big-Ears suggests Noddy can drive him there, so Noddy can get a close-up glimpse of the important visitor. Although uninvited to the supper, Noddy composes a special song which he sings outside with other Toyland folk. The performance is a great success, and Father Christmas is so impressed that he praises Noddy and asks him to drive him around Toyland for a few days to visit the different villages instead of using his bumpy old sleigh.
