Ruthie Midona has dedicated her twenties to the Providence Luxury Retirement Villa, living a quiet, predictable life as the office manager and avoiding the risks of the outside world. Her routine is disrupted when Teddy Prescott, the son of the property's new owner, arrives looking for a place to stay. Teddy is a tattooed, motorcycle-riding wanderer who has never taken anything seriously. To earn his keep, his father insists he work at the villa, and Ruthie decides to challenge him by assigning him as the personal assistant to the 'Parloni sisters,' two wealthy, eccentric, and notoriously difficult residents. As Teddy surprises Ruthie with his charm and dedication to the sisters, the two develop an unlikely bond.
