Watchman

Miles Flint is a spy and MI5 surveillance officer whose job is simply to watch, listen, and report, a role that keeps him safely on the periphery of action. But bombs are exploding in London, and Miles's personal life is under siege as his marriage crumbles and his last two high-profile operations are compromised with deadly consequences. Losing a suspect with horrific results and getting too close to another, a young Irishwoman, suggests a leak in the agency that has nothing to do with his own errors. Given one last chance for redemption, Miles is sent to Belfast on what he believes is a routine mission to oversee an arrest. However, he quickly discovers the mission is, in fact, an assassination, which puts his own life at grave risk. On the run with an Irishman named Will Collins, Miles is forced to become a man of action, playing a deadly game of cat and mouse with his own side as they piece together a lethal conspiracy that goes all the way to the core of the British Government.
